Super Smash PSP ~ Coming April 15th!

I started this project a while ago, and couldn't make proper AI.

I can now.


Details: 5 fight levels, 2 mini games.

You play as Victor, an alien entering a tournament to prove that even the small are tough. Fight 5 big baddies, each with special talents. LocoSmoko, Patapwn, Moovlin, Lazerio, and the almighty Tokeloke.

X to jump
Left/Right to move
Up for attack


Each stage will be decorated with the enemies habitat, and will have platforms to jump on, and potions to heal.

Get tough, brotha.

Super ShyGuy Universe, Loco Roco Bounce, Zuriki's Traveller, Teleport.

Includes Patapon Land, Kitrako's Castle, and a Balloon Burst Minigame!


The minigame can be played with two people as well, turn your psp sideways, have 1p racing for coins, 2p pressing the x button and blowing up the balloon!

It's already becoming very repititive...
The AI is "if im not on him, get closer"...
They dont attack, in fact they turn around so they they're not even looking at you while you lose health...
I don't see whats so "fricken amazing".
Maybe if the enemy had an actual attack, and not just "if im toching you, you'll lose health".

Hmm... you've got a point.

jfig: Make the bat animate so it looks like he's attacking you, and if you die, make the machine suit blow up or something big_smile

1. I can't find another code that works, I've searched for so long for an AI that works with FLASH 5, AS 1. Feel free to find a code that works in LiveSwif and then post the source here.
2. The code would bog down on PSP, it would lag alot.

4. What do you want them to do? Shoot bullets? Okay... Then you feel free to do that, because I can't get it to work, and if you make more than 3 moving objects in LiveSwif, they LAG on PSP.

make small (unseen) dots around the player then make an ai hittest if it touches the player set a timer once time runs out run attack animation and if they are still touching then player loses health

Btw, could you give a link to the bmx game tutorial? I wanted to make something like that.

wow i just played it it is equal to the moovlins. average nothing amazing or even good very boring and frustrating with all the glitches like no 1p ballon burst and when you jump the explosion happens on the ground

1. It's still in beta, or demo form.

2. You must really suck at games then....

3. There is 1p balloon burst in the FINAL version.

5. It's actually really simple to play, everybody on Blazebyte has beaten it with out having their bomb go everywhere....

6. Actually, it's meant for PSP. Not PC so much... That's probably why you can't beat it, the control scheme is odd (For PC, NOT PSP).

7. Nobody here has finished something that has so much action. Hell, I don't think anybody here has finished a platform type game.

1. Explosions happens on the ground.
2. You can move out of the stage in the balloon burst minigame.

It seems that everybody is forgetting this is for PSP.


I can make a shield though, lasts for 3 seconds.
