Is this 20 levels per location, or 20 all up?

Sweet! Is this all done in AS2? Because you are very talented!
I can't see the screenshots right now coz I'm capped. x( (Internetically, not physically injured)
Well, I hope this game comes out soon, my anticipation has grown quite a bit!

-Over 20 throughout the entire game. They're decently long, ranging from 3 minutes to 50 seconds. Pretty good considering the game is paced faster than Sonic the Hedgehog.jfig112 wrote:

-Haha, yup. Took alot of hard work to get those talents working for me, including some prostitution.

There is a demo...
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/519628
Mind you, it's quite awful compared to my newer version, most of the cutscenes are re-done with much better voice acting, the intro is much better in my version, you can't get custom soundtracks or custom hats in this demo, alot. The engine is pretty complete though, the hittests are a little bad in the V2 demo, fixed in my copy. As you can also see, the screen resolution is smaller in the V2 demo, which is increased by 78 pixels in my version.
Had a few complaints about the screen height and what-not, animations, I've taken all feedback into consideration and the game is much better.
But try and enjoy anyway...

Re: New Moovlin PC Screenshots
Bump.
I think I've fixed all the issues the NG demo has, but just in case I haven't, anybody wanna give the demo a review and bug test?
Hmm, I wonder if 69corvette will like this...

Lol it's me again...
Became uncapped and played your demo. It's awesome as far as I can tell!
I genuinely felt sad when it was the end of the demo.
Theres a bug where when you are going downhill and press down. Instead of sliding, you do the jump+down attack. It doesn't effect the gameplay much though, because
Brilliant, as always, can't wait to see the final product!

Yup, I think I fixed it.
The problem was that the falling from something frame and the jumping frame were both the same one, and since the ground pound action is embedded into the jumping frame, it would let you ground pound while falling off something. I seperated them, which means that glitch won't happen anymore and that you can now only ground pound when you have jumped.
I don't know if this is a big issue (with only being to ground pound while you have jumped into the air), but that bug is fixed.
Also, I implanted a neat little feature which lets you play songs from the Newgrounds Audio Portal inside of the game. All you need to do is copy the ID of a song found on the Newgrounds Audio Portal into the box and press load.
Here's a video showing it off:

I also changed the running animation into something that looks faster. See for yourself. Tell me if I should use it or stick with the old one.

Alright. I will. Tomorrow though. I am busy with my forum. And my blog. I'll be sure to check it out tomorrow though. Should I post it on my forum? It's not that big though. It's only got like 2 other members. I'm trying to get more though.

Well, if it only has 2 members, I wouldn't bother. Just post in this thread and it should be fine.
Also, can you make a list for any bugs you find? E.g.
-blah blah bug
-oh yeah here's a bug
-and this is a bug
Thanks.

Hovering has to be unlocked in the full game, same with boosting. In other words, it's not in the demo.
And I'm not done with the PSP series, I actually have a new game coming out for PSP in flash very soon.

Re: New Moovlin PC Screenshots
Thanks. The file is pretty big (9.4mb) from all the cutscenes and music running at 64kbps, I'd be surprised if it worked on anything other than a computer.

Re: New Moovlin PC Screenshots
It's a bit laggy on older computers, almost impossible to play on Netbooks or Macs. Anything that has 1.5Ghz or higher should experience it with no lag.

Re: New Moovlin PC Screenshots
You'd be surprised what runs on my phone (Droid Eris ) lol
Well...
I don't know what to say, the game still looks the same to me, I haven't touched one of your Moovlin games in awhile so I can't remember exactly. Why does Moovlin still consist of loosely connected red squares? There are two characters in your sig that that have some nice details. I understand that he is supposed to be a robot (I think). It's not the simplicity that bothers me, it's that all of his body is the same. I only went through the first couple of levels and I wasn't very impressed with the graphics. Now that the game is for the PC, I think it could use some improvement graphically.
Regardless of what I think, people seem to like the series, so keep on doing what you're doing I guess.
What are you using? Flash or that other thing?

Re: New Moovlin PC Screenshots
I'm using Flash. The graphics are kinda lame, I'm adding more objects to the levels now to spiff it up. I lack skill in the graphics department... heh. The animations will be smoother in the final product.
I've re-designed Moovlin several times only to recieve negative feedback and that no change is good change. Many cartoon characters don't make sense. Take Sonic, he only has one eye, with two pupils.
I guess Moovlin's appearance is strange, but it is very memorable to people, both name and his shape.

Re: New Moovlin PC Screenshots
Continued, typing on PSP.
The graphics are not detailed, I admit. Enemy design and level appearance is pretty conservative, as most of my concentration is on the cutscenes.
On that subject, Corvette, did you like them? They get better in later levels, I'm redoing the first ones due to low volume.
@Ian:
I can't set a date, but count on 2010. It'll be worth it, the full game will be one of the largest flash games ever made. Multiplayer, Campaign, Ability to Replay Levels, 20 Min. of Cutscenes, Minigames
