Wow... all the stuff you're suggesting seems kinda difficult... I guess I could try the gun and hand thing but I think it would still look sketchy. I'll do some more work on it later on in the day (perhaps) because I'm busy with my website etc.

EDIT: Nevertheless, here's FPSP: Alien Invasion, Episode 1. (see first post). Some of you might be slightly disappointed... but it had to be done to improve gameplay.

I think you were in a hurry to "finish" this...  Why did you take out cross hairs?
Practically every level is the same, and theres no fun in just clicking on the enemy...
Why does the level keep going after the enemies are dead? I think you need to finish this and call this an ALPHA, not even a beta...The menu looked ok though...maybe elaborate a bit more on whats going on in the opening scene.

OK, thanks for the advice.

EDIT: I've put the crosshairs back, now all I have to do is spice things up a little... make the game a little more interesting... then go for a second attempt.

That's something that can be EASILY done. I've added a whole load of new levels with more enemies and I'm working on a collectable now.

Adding more levels isn't what rolinroll means (I think) make it so the enemies have a certain amount of life and if you want to get it real crisp make it so hitting different body parts do different damage , i.e. hitting the head is one hit kill or something.  Because right now it's too simple.

OK, I'll try and make enemies where it takes more than 1 shot to kill - I think I can work out how to do that. But headshots might be a tad hard...

EDIT: Oh and can someone post a link to a 'Headshot!' sound or a 'boink'?
