It still seems pointless...the collision detection is almost no existant in the lava level and there is no challenge to getting the "items". 10 seconds for the cheese level is probally the biggest challenge in the game and probably accounts for a quarter of the whole game time...

I'm going to make some scenes (towns) into hawk eye view aspect. That way you have a lot more to do and see. I've also added enemies with health.

There should be no excuse why games should look or play bad.
So I downloaded "live swif".
I found a tutorial type game.
changed it around to make it work with "live swif".
and here it is... so having live swif isn't an excuse to
make crappy games.

wont work with psp becuase of frame rate I set it at.
so i expect to not hear anymore lame excuses about coding constraints importing or anything.
I will agree the program sucks..and i have uninstalled it...but with hard work porgress can be made...

-I've actually found out lots of things work now, It's not as restricted as I thought, but I've actually gotten enemy AI to work, but it stops working after a while.
Oh and, I'm also not the best actionscripter around, only been doing it for like 3 months. I've made a Snake game in Flash before though...

First off...
Its not supossed to have AI
This is just the barebone engine, the full game has goals and IS rather difficult, but that full game isnt my property...this is simply an example of what a good
programmer can do.
Secondly...
lack of dynamic text is not a limitation of the program....
it's a limitation of Flash 5...but ppl have gotten around this problem
Theres ways around transparent images also...try using a mixture of shapes instead of one.
Thirdly.
Yea, well my Snake game was bought by a sponsor so they must of thought it was better than a simple snake game...
and it wasnt supposed to be an epic game... I made it for this community as a sort of polite gesture so people know im a dev. Took maybe a total of 2 - 2.5 non consecutive hours of work.

Okay, sorry.
I'm not really the best actionscripter, but I know stuff.
Also, I got AI fully working (kinda), it's just that if I move all over the place the enemy "loses track" and stops moving at all.
