People have tried to tell you and me that the PSP Flash player has limits. I'll tell you one thing. Your imagination doesn't have to, and that is why I present to you the hugest flash game of the PSP's life time.

No other flash game can give you Monster killing, sword slashing, mini game action, space battles, forest mazes, and mini movies like Moovlin RPG can.

Nor has any flash game had such ability to let you download game wallpapers, music, or theme functionality inside it.

Let's get real, play Moovlin RPG and learn all that.

Re: Moovlin RPG Beta 1.2

Well, that's very good. Especially since it wasn't made using a proper version of flash. My advice:

Use the mouse button as jump, it's more PSP friendly.

Do them graphics again! They're not brilliant (Though I'd focus on the gameplay before graphics if i were you)

Consider how this is going to be a platformer RPG. Maybe devise a battle system. It's going to be very hard/

Very good. I have my doubts on this but since it's one of your first and you're giving it a go, well done.

1. Do you know a code for mouse click to jump?

2. It's supposed to be simple blocky graphics, but I can make the less jerky.

3. The RPG Part comes in when you fight bosses.

4. I've been actionscripting for less than a month, I'm not so good. But I'm getting better!

"Do you know a code for mouse click to jump"

Use your current actions, just place them in a "onMouseDown" event instead of an "onClipEvent(enterFrame)" event.

The graphics them selves are good. You just need smooth animations I suppose. If you're trying to make him look like he's gliding, make him do something different with his arms when he's standing still.

Think through this carefully! Boss fights may or may not be difficult depending on how you create them. Especially since the psp allocates a small amount of RAM for flash games.

If you want help with anything, just ask. It's good to see a keen new developer

Ahh, okay.

But does that mean if people hold down "X" or Mouse click, he will just keep jumping forever?

Well, you know when you tap left and right he walks, but when you hold he only glides?

I have 5 frames of movement. Do you know how I can use it on if you just hold them down?

I want him to walk while you hold the keys down, need to get a code for that.

Also, if you got to the trampoline part, you can see there is a mini game thing. , That "Forrest Grump" one isn't finished..., but the mini games roughly use 5 kb.

Also, the only reason it is so big, is because of that grass pic. I can take it out ( I did already), and make the file size 110kb.

It then has:

-A space game
-"Forrest Grump" game
-2 Mini movies
-5 different scenes

Those numbers aren't for the current beta though, I have yet to release my new beta.

Re: Moovlin RPG Beta 1.2

New update:

-Whammer Hammers are lame, now it's sword tackle!
-New Space Assault mini game!
-New Mini-movie, "You landed, you lived."
-Lots of extra stuff, enemies.
-The black wall at the enemies can be destroyed by sword tackling it.

Wow, only 166kb. I could add lots!
