Screen froze...help please?
So yeah, this may seem odd but I need help with my PSP & I don't know how to fix it. I have the new Slim one...
So I was randomly checking out this [pspflashgaming.com] site on my psp & as it was going from one page to another it froze at a white screen. I can't press any buttons except for the screen light & volume buttons. All the other buttons don't do anything. Not even the scroll mouse thing.
Ohh...& I can't figure out how to take the battery out either.
Help is greatly appreciated. =] Please & thank you!

Re: Screen froze...help please?
Well that happens when your browser gets overloaded, it has nothing to do with the psp slim itself it happens more with the fat.
it could either be because of overheating or like said above overloading of the virtual memory of the psp.
The best way to deal with this problem
1. prevention
In the browser pres /\ and go to tools settings viewsettings. Put the memory option on.
An other thing every once in a while delete the history, as that takes browser space
2. What to do when the screen freezes
THe only method and best is to take the battery out manualy, as turning the psp off with the switch will not work.
How to take the battery out?
on the right side of your psp you will see a little button barely visible, i use my nail to push the button in and pull the battery case gently out. From there just grab the battery from the top and pull it gently out.
You can also do this to empty the psp virtual memory and allow faster browsing.
Hope you enjoy your stay and please introduce yourself

Yeah, welcome! Heh, the internet browser can freeze sometimes. Can I ask, what is the firmware version on your PSP?

Yeah, that bug is still there in 3.72, although I saw a vid about this in YouTube... And the firmware version was 3.70 in that vid.
Hmm... I wonder if it's still there in 3.80...
