No Gravity: The Plague of Mind complete (ready for release)

QJ.Net wrote:

For those of you looking forward to the RealTechVR team's homebrew game No Gravity: The Plague of Mind, you'll be happy to know that the game has been completed. It only remains for the team's website to be updated for the release to be out in the open.

Unfortunately, the RealTechVR team also announced that they will not be giving out the specific release date. It seems though that they will be able to make their holiday release become a reality. Check back for updates.

For those who haven't heard yet, No Gravity is a 3D arcade-style space shooter that's become highly anticipated for it's stunning visuals and impressive gameplay. You can check out the demo from a few months back below.

Yaaaaaaayyyyy!! This is the best homebrew game ever! And it's complete!
I can't wait for the release!

You can download the demo if you want to here: http://dl.qj.net/No-Gravity-v1.01-game- … /catid/195

You should really check the demo out. It has probably the most stunning visuals ever on a PSP homebrew game.

Yeah, it is probably better than many commercial psp games that costs money.

Weren't the people making it thinking about publishing it as a UMD under sony's license?

Re: No Gravity: The Plague of Mind complete (ready for release)

You're correct, der-zef-meister. But that was just one of many options. They were also thinking about releasing it as an 3.XX eboot that would have Sony's digital signature which would make it work with official firmwares as well as custom firmwares.

But that was never accomplished between them and Sony, so now they're releasing it as an 3.XX eboot that will work on custom firmwares both on Fat and Slim.

Yeah, but i'm sure if they published it as an UMD. They could get some money. And we could just download it as a CSO/ISO wink

Heh, when they released the demo they promised that the full game would also be free. I'm pretty sure that they're not doing this to get money tongue

it'd be really awesome if a multilayer mode was included!!
Are these guys getting money from advertising or something?
