Re: Which CFW is best?
hmm me and JAX have 3.71M33 firmwares, but he has the 3 version.
If you want to go M33 then the latest one is good.
But i woudnt use the 3.71 HX firmwares, as they have been reported to have bugs in them.

Re: Which CFW is best?
Ok, thanks! Do you have to have a PRO duo and can you use 64 MB memorystick that's not pro for the magic memorystick?

Re: Which CFW is best?
You need to have a PRO Duo Memory Stick, and I guess the smallest in the PRO Duo series is 128MB.
And I also think that 3.71 M33 is the best, preferably 3.71 M33-3.

Re: Which CFW is best?
hmmm yes, but if you want to be on the safe side, you will want to create a nandump of your psp. and thats more than 128mb

Re: Which CFW is best?
Hmm... I don't think a NAND dump can be over 128MB since PSP's NAND has only 32MB of space... And Slims have 64MB

Re: Which CFW is best?
maybe not, but my psp slims nandump was 151mb, Its also written in the tutorial that you should use a 256mb stick.
But you can also scip the nandump step, then its fine if you use your 64mb card or 32mb

Re: Which CFW is best?
But of course, if you get bad blocks on your flash0 or flash1, then it's DEAD. Forever. Even using Pandora's Battery will give you an error while flashing and stop, or even freeze.
Then the only way to fix the PSP would be to restore that NAND dump, but if you don't have it, then you have a fancy new paperweight.
I don't have a NAND dump, but I guess I wont even be flashing anything so I don't care right now.
