Re: Bricking Portal

Hmh? Bricking portal? You mean like you could brick your handheld?

First, why the heck would you want to do that?
Second, I don't think its possible.

Re: Bricking Portal

NO!! There's now psp portal that can brick your psp!
Here's why:
A portal is just simply a webpage and cannot in any way write to flash.
And, like JaXeRiR said, why would you want it?

Re: Bricking Portal

I really don't think bricking people's handhelds is cool.

Topic has been moved to the "Homebrew Section" becausing Bricking a psp is only on custom firmwares

Re: Bricking Portal

Yeah, it's impossible. Well, of course we could brick any moment, when we have done enough flashing and the onboard NAND of our PSPs wears out. But that will take many years, maybe even decades and much, much flashing. After that you can't even fix it. But like I said, these days NAND chips can take much flashing and they are time-resistant so they can't just break like that (probably...)

Rollinroll can tell you more wink
