Hey!

Hey hows it going everyone? Its been quite a while since my last visit here. Honestly, I sort of lost interest in flash for the psp around the time that the 3.03 downgrader came out. Well, Im all funned out with the homebrew goodness and decided to come back to flash development.
Ive decided to revive the most likely forgotten Zelda project I was working on. Although, these past couple weeks Ive had a tile system based platforming engine in the works. I might come out with a Metroid Clone some time. Its hard to tell though.
At the moment, Im still stuck on the issue of saving your game in the Zelda Clone. I could make a password system but I always disliked having to remember a series of letters and numbers. Or I could just make the game short enough for a couple minutes without the need to save. There is also a  possibility of saving your game directly to a server (like a highscore system would) but that would eliminate offline play.

On a side note, I am trying to come out with several Nintendo inspired minigames with several icons from the games Mario, Zelda, Mario and several others.

All in all, its nice to be back (and sorry for such a long post! I doubt you read all of it!)

Re: Hey!

If you are stuck with a save game system then I can help. Have you played roobix on your psp (you have to download the zip version) which is here. this allows you to save the game to the psp by using the input history. It uses javascript and I am happy to show you how this works. If you are interested in the save game system then send me an email.
