Ok, beta 0.7 is finished.
The first mission is allmost complete (cutscenes before and after the level). (Jake, don't be mad ). Here you have to stay alive before landing. This level's frame rate is stable, around 13-14 fps.
Second mission is only "on paper", there are still lots of thigs to do. As you can see, the frame rate is a problem - 10-11.
Survival mode is added.
More levels will be coming, and each one will have different objectives. Design is overworked, and i still need to wirk on it. Some buttons are not working, don't be afraid, It'll be fixed soon enough. Gameover screen will be different for each of the level.
Don't blame me, i'm not a good artist + i rushed. I think it'll look a lot cuter next time

That is very good use of Bob, i think the cut scenes work well to give it abit of a story, looking forward to seeing some more levels

I've resumed working. When I opened flash - I was shoked. This is how the timeline looked:
I've created a new .fla, and spent most of the evening "tidying" up the game.
This is how it looks now:
Soon, very soon the game will be finished...

I've dropped my PSP yesterday, now it's in the servise centre, and i need someone to try a cutscene on his PSP - there are many things happening, and i need someone to test It
I know it's not a sprite animation masterpiece, i just didn't want multimple events happen at once
This will be in the game:
-4 levels and 1 bonus level with intros and outros - Jelly level, LocoRoco level, Sonic level, crash bandicoot level and .. u'll find whet's the secret levels is yourself...
To unlock it, you must get a definite score in each level.
-Extras unlockable after completing a level.
An tallPhil, can you tell me how to add the highscore table? If you don't want to post the code here, send me on my e-mail
Allso, i reqire an eggman sprite sheet (the one in the movie is a screenshoted by me, but screenshoting the death animation is waaay to long )

I've had flash games freezing before, so I think it's the PSP's fault....
w00t a sonic theme.... let me go get my psp right now
EDIT: It plays really smooth on PSP... Smoother then I thought ^^

I'm glas that it works ok. I phoed the service centre, thay told me that my PSP will be ready tomorrow after midday.
2 new beta versions
Whats new?
3 fully functional levels. LocoRoco Level is finished, as well as the sonic level, but extras are unavaliable - only buttons.
Allso, you will notice that the main meny will change whe you complete a level. (Just don't press next after the sonic level to see the menu)
The reason why I made 2 betas is simple: In sonic level, you're falling all night long, and must survive untill a new day starts (dunno why, just wanted something new). So the background is smoothly tweening. It works OK on PC, but I'm afraid that it will make the PSP freexe or work veeery slowly. So i made another beta, without that tween - BG will change only 4 times. Allso in B, some minor glitches were fixed.

Yep, I'm testing them right now. The rays of sun on the background for the bob level look really nice, I still like the locoroco theme a lot, but I'm afraid your sonic level isn't running smooth in either versions
Oh and there's a bug in version b if you lose bob's level, you still get to continue.

Too bab the sonic level isn't smooth, i liked the idea
so i'll bring back the height meter. oh well, that's life
And what do you mean by "you still get continiued"? That y ou can stay on the platform till the top of the screen and don't die?

OK, the pre-release beta version is finished!
No extra content, and no highscore table (i'm still waiting for the script admins ), but everything else is working.
I will ajust the height, starting speed, max speed of each level later.
If some buttons are not working, tell me.

edited: no, everything works for me. The only thing that could happen if you've been trying to play it by following the link i gave you from the PSP. If that's it, then click an the Falldownbeta09.swf link below the flash. It will open in a new window, it might work.
