I've got the same error a few times now, always helps if you format it, but to prevent it from happening, plug your PSP to your PC then right click to the mem stick and select properties->tools and run the two tools there -- It fixes the FAT file system and the files preventing this nice. You might wanna run it every month or after you've moved many big files to the memory stick just in case.

the folder deletion can't be made
if you see that message it is because you cancelled a file download music and video with a folder
i noticed some of my images said corrupted data
or some my music video and pictures say unsupported data
Folder deletion can't be made because the folder includes data types different than image

Oh man! Now I have the same problem whenever I try to enter G:/PSP/GAME150/
This sucks! I lost all my homebrew!
"Error: File or folder is corrupted and cannot be read"
Shitz! If you're gonna go to OE firmwares, be sure to first BACK UP ALL YOUR DATA and after that, format the mem stick and when you're on OE, format again if you don't want to wake up one day looking at your PSP's screen saying "There are no games" in Game->Memory Stick.

Re: Need help with corrupted memory stick!!!
UPDATE: I found a site where someone told how to fix this (probably). Press Start->Execute (or whatever it is in english) and type:
Code:
chkdsk X: /f /r
But be sure to replace the X with the drive your PSP is.
Well, this didn't work for me though, it just asked if I want to "Convert missing chains to files". I've got no idea so I pressed No.
