Re: 1000 000?
Not today!
Edit: I've got a degree now... I used to visit this site when I started high school :')

Hey, congratulations on the degree! It's been a long time for me, too. February marks the 10th anniversary of my first (shitty) PSP game.

Re: 1000 000?
Woah holy sh*t I last posted on this place 9 years ago, I was in fucking middle school and now I've graduated college. What the hell, this is a nostalgia trip. The internet has changed a lot now, at least this place still holds some memories. I hope all of you guys are doing fine now, even though most of you probably won't ever come back to read this.

Thanks Phil for keeping the site up. Its a very unique little community you made here, and I think it would be a shame if it were to disappear for good.

Just realized the Flash banner for this site will be inaccessible in two days. I doubt anyone will be able to log in (it might be possible with a custom POST request?)

Re: 1000 000?
Happy new years, PSPFG. Still standing after 2020 is an achievement on its own.
I logged in just fine without the banner. Will be sad to see it go, though.
That said, the end of Flash is the end of one hell of an era. Despite having a few consoles, I didn't really have all *that* many games. A new console game was a really rare treat for me. My childhood missed out on a lot of good games that I simply don't have the time to go back and play now.
Flash allowed me to play new games all the time, granted they were nowhere near the same caliber (actually there was a ton of garbage out there), but it gave me many hours of entertainment, and then there were the Flash animations, too. Oh well. It had to happen, and everyone knew it was coming.

I"m using Ruffle from ruffle.rs right now, in order to see the banner and use the flash games. It's got some bugs to work out, but overall, it's pretty good as a functional long term replacement.
The only annoyance I've seen from pspfg is that I get the "wrong flash version" error page fairly often.
But yeah, congrats on it being up still
May the force be with you!

Re: 1000 000?
Hello everyone!
I just read about ruffle.rs and got excited - I've just added it to the site and boom, everything seems to sort of work again!
I disabled the flash version check too, as I couldn't get anything to load without getting rid of that.
Huge kudos to the ruffle.rs team to build this, seriously impressive stuff and ridiculously easy for me to set up.
Right then - here's to another 10 years of nostalgia?!

Re: 1000 000?
Glad to see the site back up again! Ruffle is great and really gives me an appreciation for how great of a programmer Mike is (mike.newgrounds.com)
There was a Ruffle Game Jam earlier this year that I participated in as well - you can see results of the Flash Forward Game Jam on NG. Super cool stuff!
