Need clock javascript!!!

Hi, I need clock javascript to use when I'm customizing NorPortal from 2.1 to 2.2 OE-A.

It's going good. I just inserted the new background, deleted all the links, (don't need)  added about 10 games, 15 apps and 10 movies. Also I deleted the original file browser and added my JellyFish instead with a new background to fit the theme+a little customizing tweaks to go good with the background.

Next I plan to add a clock to the right hand-corner of the index or maybe to the games or so. I just would need the script to do that but can't find it anywhere.

Please reply if you have or know the script for the clock.

Thanks to rollinroll for permission to edit it for my own use! wave

Re: Need clock javascript!!!

http://www.w3schools.com  Like I said before... (maybe I should get this as a sticky somewhere.)  Google, and w3schools for all your web application needs.

Heres the more specific link
http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_timing.asp

Even more specifically if you only want to use and not understand.

Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
function startTime()
{
var today=new Date()
var h=today.getHours()
var m=today.getMinutes()
var s=today.getSeconds()
// add a zero in front of numbers<10
m=checkTime(m)
s=checkTime(s)
document.getElementById('txt').innerHTML=h+":"+m+":"+s
t=setTimeout('startTime()',500)
}

function checkTime(i)
{
if (i<10)
  {i="0" + i}
  return i
}
</script>

and for the body tag

Code:

<body onload="startTime()">

and to display the text

Code:

<div id="txt"></div>

Anyways... Rollinroll's permission as I understand extends to that you MAY NOT release it to the forums.  It must be only available to you.  I'm guessing that you can send  it to him and he can add it as an option
