psp's default OFW
Hey i have a question. I'm planning on buying a new psp(2000 slim one) so i can hack it for CFW but i don't know whats the default OFW so i wonder if any1 can tell me whats the default factory OFW for a new psp cause i dont wanna buy a new psp and i found out the firmware is too high then i cant hack it.
(Also if this helps i'm planning on hacking it to 5.00 m33 CFW the one that doesn't evolve Pandora battery to do it.)

To be honest, I haven't got a clue. Maybe 3.50-3.80?

Re: psp's default OFW
to my knowledge, its not the OFW you need to worry about that much, but the MotherBoard.
New 2000's have a New MotherBoard and you cant get CFW on them the "old way" (no pandora) like the 3000, you need ChikHen.
Idk how to tell if the psp has the new MotherBoard w/out looking at it lol
but i do know that the God of War PSP 2000 can get CFW the "old way"
(I know you want to get CFW w/o pandora, you might need to search more on that ChickHen)
hope this helped

Re: psp's default OFW
No, 5.03.
As it is partially hacked, when you turn your PSP completely off, it returns to OFW.
