Re: freaky flash help
Well, that's because this site has that huge logo on the top.
Press triangle, go to Tools->Settings->View Settings and set Flash off while exploring this site:D
Hope it helps.
EDIT: Other way is (I think) to go to www.pspflashgaming.com/psp.php
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: freaky flash help
I think what he means is to disable the message popping up everytime you run a flash file on the psp. If you do like JaXeRiR said, the psp browser will disable flash to be run. The messge wont pop up, but you will not see the menu on this site because it uses flash. And no, there is no way to diable that message without disabling flash to be run.

Re: freaky flash help
What he actually said was
"Every single time I load a new page or browse a page..."
So I think he meant just for this site, not to disable the logo permanently, but just when surfing this site.
I know it can be a real pain in the @$$ to have to see the same screen all the time, but let's just hope $ony gives us the choice to disable it.

Re: freaky flash help
You could create some kind of dhtml menu, so it can be similar to the one in flash. If the psp supports it...

yeah, i've been meaning to create a html version of the header to use on the psp site, but haven't got around to it yet... Might do that today if i get a chance.
I have tried a menu that would slide out, pretty much like this one does, but I used javascript... Worked fine on PC but a PSP just won't do it
I guess it'll have to be something really simple and static unless you can come up a with a different way of doing it

Re: freaky flash help
i was planning on doing a simple system of <div style="display:none;"> containers, with some js to show them when you clicked a link. Would this js work? It's very simple, but I haven't played with the js on the PSP yet...

Re: freaky flash help
I think it would.. I was talking about something .. more animated, actually sliding out instead of just appearing... If you know what I mean :p

It ... just keeps loading...
A blank page with the 'loading' icon thingy in the lower right corner of the screen
I don't think I can test it =/
EDIT:
Uh... none of it works

Re: freaky flash help
I'm assuming making a div element visible and invisible just like that should be possible. But to make it look like a smooth animation, I don't think it's possible =/

Re: freaky flash help
functionality is more important than style
To be honest, the whole site is long overdue a redo - the flash menu has some fairly unnecessary options in it and could do with being rewritten, and there's a fair few bugs that need fixing across the site. When I get my other big project out of the way (couple of weeks hopefully) i'll see if i can find time to actually work on this site
