Noticed one thing about flash games.

The maximum size of a flash game to work is somewhere near 1MB, right?
Still, some of the flash games (SubMachine), 1,3MB's work.
And then there are some flash games that are under 1MB and don't work.
I've got a flash game that is 8KB's, but it usually causes "out of memory" errors at some point. So there is some "hard" thing in the code that causes teh PSP to give that error. I haven't made so much flash games, not for PSP, no, so I don't know so much about flash games...

Just thinking if Sony could make an Java Applet for PSP somewhere in the future, and we would see www.pspjavagaming.com someday tongue smile big_smile

Re: Noticed one thing about flash games.

the thing that usually crashes the psp flash player, or gets it to run slowly is the load that the script places on the psp. Code is very lightweight in terms of storage, and the larger swfs probably just have images and sound embedded within them.
A very small swf with a large amount of code running on each frame will do much worse on a psp than a very large swf with very little code.

Look for infinite loops or rewriting a variable that is the same as the new value... These things are what start hoggin memory that the psp does not have.  Run it in windows and watch the memory it takes up in the task manager
