psp flash FPS question

(ok 1st Im asking about Frames Per Second :p)
what would be an almost perfect FPS for a sidescroller, w/ vector graphics(no imports) and atleast a map of 600 x 500.
Im using 80fps but it seems slow =s or should I just change the walkspeed?
thanks in advance big_smile

Re: psp flash FPS question

80fps should be fine bearing in mind films are usually 24fps and many games designed to run at 60fps.

You could add code which detects the frame rate and adjusts the walk speed accordingly.

Re: psp flash FPS question

80fps is allot I would be surprised if it even ran on most of browsers. most of my games are about 12fps.

yeah it would be hyper on a computer, but its a side scroller, scrolling needs a higher fps, well for psp, so it seems on my project =P
