Re: Couple homebrew questions...

1) Since you have a fat PSP, get a fat Pandoras Battery.
2)The battery is worthless without the Magic Memory Stick-Its where all the data to be flashed is.
3)Once you get the battery, just turn on your PSP using the AC adapter, take your battery out if its in there, and put Pandoras battery in. Then shut it off and wait for it to be fully charged.
4) You dont need a homebrew flash player..theres a great PSP homebrew app called PSPTube. You run it straight from the XMB, and away you go.

If I recall correctly there are a few tutorials about making the Magic memory stick on these forums. But in a nutshell...
-You backup your memory stick files onto the computer.
-You format the memory stick from your PSP (Settings>System settings>Format Memory Stick)
-You plug in you PSP to the PC via USB connection, then run whatever Magic Memory Stick creator program you have. I'll try to find the one I used for my memory stick.
-After you've made your MMS and downgraded your PSP, you can format the memory stick again from the PSP and then copy all your backed up files onto the memory stick.

I'll find the program I used and give you a link. Oh, when your done, I highly recommend that you upgrade to 5.00 M33-3, the latest CFW. Hope I've helped somewhat.

Re: Couple homebrew questions...

1. Link.

2. Yes, you need it. Here's a tut and an easy installer

3. Take it out of the box, prepare your magic memory stick with the above tutorial and place them both in your PSP, the magic MS first though. Your PSP will start without flicking the power switch and enter the unbricker menu.

4. Nope, but you can use the Ultimate PSPTube homebrew.

EDIT: Doublehawk, you beat me to it wink
