Bad News...
Well, a kid at school hit my messenger bag...with my PSP in it. I'm typing all this with my PSP, showing that everything still works, but now it won't play UMDs...and I noticed this the day I bought a game for it. I'm debating on taking it to Geek Squad, or seeing if GameStop can fix it. From what I could see, it looks like the Eye only does that up and down movement, but it won't move side to side. Any ideas? Why do MY things have to break??? Argh...

Re: Bad News...
you could read some guides and try to fix it... (you risk busting it more if you dont know what your doing)
I have experience with psp hardware, but never fixed the lens or stuff related to it.
im sorry i cant help more =/

Re: Bad News...
Yeah, cowwer, I always think that. I don't trust myself with fixing a PSP...How much would it cost for Geek Squad to look at my PSP and try to fix it? Same question for GameSpot, but I don't know if they even fix things.

Re: Bad News...
Ok...Thank you for being off topic Cowwer. Well my trigger didn't fall off, I think it's just because the eye won't move left to right at all.

Re: Bad News...
Hacking mine for Xmas. XD Hey, isn't it LEGAL for me to download games onto my PSP AS LONG as I bought it? Because Gamespot and Geek Squad won't fix PSPs and I have all these games I can't play thanks to the Eye.

Re: Bad News...
That's a really bad news indeed. Well, all I can say is that you let a pro have a look at your PSP first. It may sound costly but hey, you can save time and effort. Goodluck with that! (and please take care of your things next time)

Re: Bad News...
ummm... gamestop can repair ur psp or give u a new one, but geek squad only fixes consoles not handhelds. and gamespot is not a store. gamespot is a website that gives u video game info. and u could fix the psp urself if u or someone u know has that kind of skills. just buy a new psp if u dont want to go through repairs. ive had my slim for a year and nothing is wrong with it. u guys must go bad schools if people do that kind of stuff to ur psp.
