how long can posts be? I was making one long post instead of small many ones. Is ther a certain lenth posts can be?

i dont know but i typed weeeeeeee for a long time then when i tried to submit it said Error only 65535 charecters allowed or someting like that

2^16 = 65536 B (Byte)
It reserves a certain amount of memory in Bytes.
It's a type of variable that is used for strictly positive numbers in programming quite a lot. it should range from 1 to 65536B but for most programming languages, it starts at 0 and not at 1, so that makes 0 to 65535 instead of 1 to 65536. That's where the number comes from.
It's also 64 kB if you're interested. Notepad for example could only open text files up to 64kB before the one on WinXP, because it was limited by this range; it sets how much memory something can take. On character takes 1 Byte, so you can have 65535 characters to limit the posts to 64kB. It's not so much that but it's just one of the most commonly used. Open an excel document and count how many rows you can have at most: 65536 (row 1 to 65536). The number is everywhere
I can't explain any better, but yeah it's not just a random number :p
