Re: game engine test
For some reason I can't push the orange boxes upward... and when I run into the white boxes on their bottom side close to the bottom left corner, I start slipping to the left. Hmmm...

Re: game engine test
Well it works otherwise. The only way to really know would be a stress test on the psp, put a bunch of blocks on there and test the fps.

Re: game engine test
Sadly, it's not an engine. It's just some key controls and hittests.
Something with variables and volume recalls might be considered an engine. If it's OOP.
Games I support:
Super ShyGuy Universe, Loco Roco Bounce, Zuriki's Traveller, Teleport.

Re: game engine test
LOL.
Jfig's back and aint takin crap.
Thats really funny to hear coming from him, he almost sounded like he knew what he was talking about.
A game engine is any framework that contains combainations of graphic rendering, collision detections, physics, basicly any thing that can be used many times.
So, if he can use this for a game I would consider it a game engine, even if it's very basic.
Also...
How could you know if he used OOP concepts?...Each of those blocks could have been child classes of a block class.
If I remember correctly, you released an fla for you shyguy game, and I don't remember you using any OOP concpets. So maybe you don't understand what OOP is.
Then again ALL flash games use OOP. Such as the way "movieclips" are a class and they inherit methods and properties (like startDrag()-stopDrag()) from "sprite".
I dont mean to be harsh, but don't talk about something you don't know about.

Re: game engine test
Apparently you didn't use OOP (Object Oriented Programming).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Object_oriented
Still has nothing to do with whether it is a "game engine" or not.
