Are the porn ads really necessary?
I don't know about you guys but I find the pictures of women exposing themselves annoying to say the least. I wouldn't mind but they're always there whenever I load a page and they could get me into trouble. They aren't full-on nudity but they're provocative and if my parents or my teacher at school were to see them I'd be dead.
Anyway, this is meant to be a community. Why don't be protect those innocent ones among us who are too young to know where babies come from?

Re: Are the porn ads really necessary?
hmmm. Maybe I have a virus or something. I always see those ads on here and on quickjump. Also an ad for a guitar effects processor I downloaded (even though I virus-checked it). Has something similar happened to anyone before? I'm away to scan my hard drive...
*********************************************************************
Edit: Fixed! I installed a program for guitar effects processing which made some nasty changes to my "hosts" file so most pages I loaded had ads for "18+ is waiting for you" or just a random picture of people having sex on a car or ads for the guitar effects program. If something similar happens to anyone else, the link below shows you how to fix the "hosts" file.

Re: Are the porn ads really necessary?
Oh. I haven't seen any of those. Glad you fixed it. But really, are any ads neccesary for users/members?

I also like Adblock Plus, it's the best one and it's free. It even supports blocking normal images, so that if an ad is not hosted by a separate advertisement company, you can still block it.

Re: Are the porn ads really necessary?
Remember if you did get in trouble, youd have a pretty good excuse that they are just ads.

Haha, I searched on Google 'IE vs. Firefox' and I found a cool Browser Showdown. It doesn't tell you anything about the specs of the browsers, only which one is cooler

Both are equally annoying.

I don't even use it at school lulz. Most of the computers have Firefox, and if the one I'm using doesn't have, I'll just install it

Our school has IE6
The security they use is called RM Connect, so far it has been un-hackable.
