atari 2600 games

i was playing some old 2600 games yesterday, and then i realized that the atari had an anolog stick and ONE action button, just like psp flash.  Does anyone think it is a good idea to port some 2600 games to the psp?

I mean port, or reprogram some old 2600 games like space invaders,  warlords and raft rider into flash for the psp.  Allthough you could just use a emulater.  But it would be cool... right?

Re: atari 2600 games

I found one! it runs a little slow, but i think i'll go and edit it, make moving the plate with the d-pad and not the stick. If someone could make a 2600 emulator in flash, that would be the best!

Re: atari 2600 games

Thats the problem i'm having. I'v got the players ship done, and i'm rescripting the enemys movement now (thay were WAY to fast). but the enemy bomb droping is hard for some reson hmm. Maybe i'll post it this weekend, it should be playable then.

Re: atari 2600 games

I did a pong remake which you can read about on this thread. Unfortinately i was unable to recreate the two player mode because of the psps limited number of button(Although there are 12 buttons and a mouse on the psp, only 5 and the mouse are usable for flash gaming. The rest are for using the browser).
