New to homebrew scene, what to do?

Ok, well as funny as it may sound, i got my PSP downgraded April Fool's day, 08. Actually, 3 PSP's were downgraded without a hitch.
Ive used Pandora, and im at 3.71 M33. Do i need to install the 1.50 kernel addon for 3.71 in order to use PSP apps? Cause I tried using PSPradio, and it gave me an error..
Also, should i update to 3.80 M33? Or stay where i am?Thanks for all help.
EDIT: I got iRShell 3.7 to work on the PSP, so im guessing i do need 1.50 kernel addon, as no other programs worked.

some games/programs don't require 1.50 kernel but many do. You can get the 1.50 kernel addon for 3.71 M33 here (for PSP fat):

Yep.

Make sure you have the PSPRadio folder in GAME371. It should work then.

Re: New to homebrew scene, what to do?

Heh, havnt been checking back, been too busy looking at how to customize the psp.
So ive updated, and got the kernel addon, now at 3.80 M33-2. All apps ive downloaded work great. But now i feel the need to put on a custom font..Is this possible on 3.80 M33-2? Cause ive looked around a bit in the flash0's font folder, and read somewhere that Ltn0.pgf is the font that the XMB and web browser uses. Could i just replace that file with a customized one, or is this not possible?

Yeah you can just replace it and BE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, custom fonts are god damn ugly.

If you use the web browser you could try to get a true type font, so that it doesn't look so ugly in the browser.
