Flash offline launcher for psp?

Ok, so i have the .swf saved into my COMMON folder, and i want to play it on my psp.

I've been to the psponme.com offline launcher, and it just doesnt work for me. I click on the box, put my .swf in, and when i move my cursos away it just says page not found.

Are there any other ways of playing a .swf file on your psp in the browser?

Re: Flash offline launcher for psp?

Yes, the advanced way.

Type "file:\PSP\COMMON\GameNameHere.swf" in the adress bar. The GameNameHere is what your game is named.

Re: Flash offline launcher for psp?

In the Offline Launcher 2 you don't want to click the box, you want to click the Search button. That will show you some Folders. Go to the COMMON folder or I think the last folder, and you should see the games you downloaded already.

Is it just me? Can you try it?

Did you go into the PSP folder on your memory stick first and then made a COMMON folder?

No, i just went onto the net with my psp. downloaded the .swf file, and it already asked for it to be saved into the common folder. So i just assumed it would of created the folder?.

It's just i dont have the cable, will be buying one in the week.

I tried that game and it gives me the Not Enough Memory error on my PSP 1000. I can't even get it to start on my PC. It looks like it never finishes loading on the website.

Re: Flash offline launcher for psp?

The game doesn't work... the game is an incomplete file also the PSP can't play the game because the size of it is too high.

I've decided to start work on a new flash game thats specifically going to be for the PSP. I've written half the script for the game, made a few designs for how the cutscenes will look like, and how the game mode will look. It's also going to have a lot of game modes, point and click style, puzzle, action, shooting, driving. So overall, a very high standard game.

If your interested, and want to help out, the more the merrier. Help would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, here's a little teaser of the main menu. I'm also trying to quickly put together the first few stages of the game, so i can release it as a sort of demo/beta styled thing, to test out. So stay tuned!

Check out the 'Reckoner' section for updates.

What was the point in quoting that?..
But it should still load, whether its a completed game or not, all im asking the psp to do is load a .swf file. It could be a 2 seond loop, and it should still work. And how is the size too high? It's only about a three frames? How large can a psp game be?

It seems i might just have to scrap the idea and leave it just for PC.

Thank you, i'll check that out right now. But the previous posts seem to be saying it might not even work at all. =/

Re: Flash offline launcher for psp?

I did make another game loader far better then the the one mentioned in this topic so far. It makes it much easier to load games and you can also save your favourite links and set a theme. See this topic for details Game Loader 3

Hey Jake, i think tallphill linked me to one of your loaders, not sure if its your most up to date one. It doesn't seem to want to load my game whatsoever. Can anyone else get it to work or is it just me?

I'd really like to resolve this problem before i progress any further with the game. Because if it's not going to work on PSP, i may aswell make the stage bigger and just make it a normal PC flash game.
