Who I am...

... c.c Yeah. ^_^;

Hi, I'm Komadori, and I live in the US (Georgia), but I'm originally from Texas. I am old enough to know better but young enough not to care (and let's leave it at that!)--- I will be graduating from college this semester with a BFA. My focus in school is metalsmithing/textiles, but I have a background in graphic design (switched degree plans when I moved...) and some work history in tech support. I used to know a smidge of MUX/MUSH programming, HTML, and CSS, but that was a few years ago. ^^;

I have an interest in flash animation, but I am still new to the field and haven't had much free time to play with it. However, I will be glad to learn what I can, in my off-time from working on my senior show, and after that, I should have some availability to get more done in this hobby. wink

I think, until then, you might see more in the way of wallpapers and the like from me, if anything. I have NO idea how busy I'll be with the show. So bare with me.

So far as the PSP goes-- I got a slim for Christmas, and I am debating whether to outfit it with CFW or not. My gaming leans on the girly side (well... I am a girl, so...) --I love RPGs and Katamari Damacy. <3

I also fancy myself a writer, so if anyone is working on an RPG and would like a sounding board, feel free to send me a message.

Thanks!
-K

Yeaaah... I have a friend in Athens, GA who might have a Pandora battery. I think that's the only thing keeping me back, really. I know I can make my own,  but I haven't opened a battery case before.. Though I did recently purchase a soldering iron. I've also read that you could use snips instead... so tempted. ^^;

About to pop over to the wallpaper topic. Just finished up some simple KD backgrounds. <3

And don't worry, it's alright. I'm a friendly sort, too. ^.^ b

How'd you manage that? Also, I have a slim, which silly me, I updated as soon as I started to browse, soon after Christmas. X.x So I at least was pretty sure I'd need a PB and magic memory stick to set it up with CFW.

I actually haven't gone around asking, before, since I tend to lurk and try to find things out by googling. I hadn't heard of a workaround that didn't need a modded battery, but if there was such a technique, I'd be interested. ^_____^;

Re: Who I am...

Firmwares under 3.50 can be downgraded with many other methods than Pandora's Battery. For example, I used the famous Lumines exploit.

Re: Who I am...

Rather than quote you both:

Ahhh.. Well, I will need the PB, alas. n.n; But that's alright. I will wait awhile yet. I'm just needing an RPG fix, I think. n.- A friend told me about Wild Arms, so I might look into picking that one up. But thanks for the clarification!

Re: Who I am...

lol hehe

I really liked your little presentation, really interesting !

he  another psp slim owner! happy to have some company.

well i'm happy you presented yourself and i hope you stay here and have fun.

Oh and about psp  slim firmware. It doesnt matter which firmware you are on, you can always switch to cfw with pandora.  smile

If you have any questions concerning cfw  dont hesitate  to ask me or the other mods.

ps: what is katamari? an RPG on psp?

Glad to see all the warm welcome, guys. smile Thanks again!

And that's good to know about the PB! I was going to buy a battery the other day and Gamestop's battery pack was going for $40ish. HA! So, I thought I'd go ahead and shop online for one already done since I've seen them for less than that. tongue Thought I might peek in Wal-Mart to see what they have.

Katamari Damacy is a PS2 game, with a sequel called We <3 Katamari and a third game, Me and My Katamari for the PSP. (They also just came out with Beautiful Katamari for the PS3.) It's a strange little game, but highly addictive for some of us, not an RPG... closest thing I could relate it to is a platformer of sorts... but the object of the game is to 'roll up' objects in the environment, to sizes requested by in-game characters.

Feel free to wiki it for more information. What I like about the KD series is that, although it's addictive, it's also easy to put down if you have more important things to do. It doesn't hurt your gamer feelings, if you only have an hour to play before RL butts in. wink And that is something RPGs don't tend to offer, save for the huge amounts of leveling up (which to me is not nearly as fun as a roll-up).
