Pandora Battery Hardware Mod

I was thinking about make a pandora's battery by clipping one of the legs in a battery a tutorial showed... But I figured I should take a few precautions before I blow my hand off. Anyone ever tried this? If so is clipping the 'leg' safer than soldering? Any other tips would help

Well, how are you gonna get the memorystick files to boot from when you don't have a psp capabable of running homebrew?

Re: Pandora Battery Hardware Mod

I don't think you can use that to make the files. You'll have to use a homebrew-capabable psp to make the files for the memorystick...

Re: Pandora Battery Hardware Mod

I've seen some on max console and people claim to have it working... If it doesn't go as planned I might have to just wait until Pandora gets patched and wait until a downgrader maybe around Christmas sad

Oh no. You don't need a homebrew capable PSP to make the files, as far as I know. Just a memory card reader and the files and applications needed. Don't quote me on that, though as I am not 100% sure.

Re: Pandora Battery Hardware Mod

Really? I'll check that out... I read from somewhere there was an application for PC which did everything necessary.

If you take a few minutes searching on MaxConsole forums you can find a tutorial and some apps to make pandora without homebrew

It's in here too... -_-

You just have to open the battery, easy, then cut/solder a leg, easy, then accidentally hit the litium "holder" and your arm is gone.

Re: Pandora Battery Hardware Mod

Just check how hard it is by opening up the battery... An easy way to see.
