776. My mate just built himself a computer with a quad core, 4 gigs of ram and a direct x 10 card (ati one, can't remember which). So yeah, methinks I might have to get a copy of crysis and pay him a visit

778. Damn, I keep having problems with my graphics cards. First my Radeon 9000 PRO fails, and my screen shuts down once in a while. Then, I grab an older graphics card, S3 Trio64V2/DX, and it restarts my computer instead of shutting down the screen. I've got no idea what's wrong, but I assume that some program on my PC is causing problems with all graphics cards I connect to my computer.

780. I've tried it. It didn't help at all. Well, it fixed this for about 10 minutes, and then it started happening again. Now I can't even boot normally, my PC shuts down or restarts at the bootscreen so I have to use Safe Mode to browse the internet and use my computer. I think that the heatsink on my Radeon might be causing this, maybe it doesn't work anymore as good as before - and it's causing the card to heat too much.

781 Yeah, I had a problem with my last computer with the graphics card heat sink - similar effects. I had a peek inside and the heat sink was half hanging off the card...

i just keep getting banned.
