I started a Dev Blog for the flash game I'm making here, it's a Strategy RPG that I'm hoping will port over to PSP decently:

Re: Flash Dev Blog

Looks neat, good luck wink

If I get this right the whole map layout is stored in an array, and then the iteration calls the pieces one by one and places them on the map? I should really learn AS =/

Re: Flash Dev Blog

Yeah, it's pretty much just a time saver rather than making the maps by hand, plus the positioning is exact.

Re: Flash Dev Blog

won't that kill CPU though? I'm probably wrong but i read somewhere that AS rendered graphics slow down the PSP more than normal graphics

Re: Flash Dev Blog

Yeah, it's all in the map management. I'm testing to see what is possible right now, plus, I'm hoping eventually PS will open up more memory for flash.

Re: Flash Dev Blog

I wouldn't count on it. They could've done so by now if they wanted to.
