Hi browndragon. Like Duelord said, it would not be wise to delete something from flash0 not knowing what it does.

But there are some folders/files that are safe to delete, as long as you don't use Japanese or Korean fonts. You could try to delete the folder called 'DIC'.

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

But remeber browndragon, if you delete the DIC folder you will not be able to play Japanese games.

You should be able to play them, but all the text will be jibber-jabber.

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

A brick is a PSP with a corrupted internal memory, which means it can not work therefore. You can get your PSP working with homebrew games by buying a special battery or asking someone else with a PSP who can play homebrew games to create one.

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

I got a question.
Is it possible to customize the wave on the PSP background?

Of course. There are many hundreds of different waves on the internet.

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

muaha i did it *dance*
see my video?
you can also put a background pic  with the wave still on.

but more dangerous  than putting a gameboot on.

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

It's not *that* dangerous, if something goes wrong you should just get a white background.

The waves are cool though, a single wave will work with all firmwares.

If you have an internet connection you could just google for wallpapers, then when you find an image you like, press Triangle, File, and Save Image As... and save it to the /PICTURE/ folder. Then close the internet browser and navigate to Photo, Memory Stick, and there you have your image. Then open it, press Triangle, and select Save As Wallpaper. Wait a few seconds and there you have it!

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

M33 is annoying!! I had to update from 3.40oe-a to 3.52M33 (it takes forever to actually make the update file!), then update to 3.52M33-4, THEN update to 3.71 M33 (I used an easy installer so I didn't have to wait an hour for the update maker to finish), THEN I updated to 3.71M33-4 and wondered why my homebrews weren't working. THEN I had to find the 1.50 kernel addon 2 patch and install that and now I'm FINALLY happy with it. I downgraded my mate's PSP today so I need to get the 1.50 kernel addon2 patch for him as well!! It's good once you get it though. The recovery menu looks a whole lot sexier in red and black!!

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

Hmmm......I think your PSP is f**ked. There should be no reason why it would do that.

Re: Need help with PSP? Ask here!

You might have got a corrupt 01-12.bmp in the flash, or just a load error. Sometimes the PSP loads modules wrong from flash0 and that causes errors..
