Best Platformer

In the firs issue of the PSPFlashGaming magazine I want to make a comparison between PSP platformers and select the best one. Reply to this topic with Names (maybe with description/screenshots) of the games you think are good in the genre.

Note that here, were not selecting the best platformers. Only candidates smile

Re: Best Platformer

Sega Megadrive (genesis outside of europe) Collection has some platformers on it such as ristar, sonic, and ecco the dolphin.

I also think that dudeman's adventures deserves a place in the mag......

Re: Best Platformer

I did play Daxter and I would recommend it to anyone its a brilliant game and the graphics are fantastic. At the moment I am playing Ratchet and Clank Size Matters and that also is brilliant, I would recommend both titles. I have not played any of the other platform games but maybe I will in the future.

Re: Best Platformer

Sonic Rivals. I have mostly been playing that in the weekend. And do you mean just the big titles, or homebrew games too?

Re: Best Platformer

Isn't ratchet + clank meant to not run properly on custom firmware? I'm only asking because i'm thinking of downgrading soon, possibly within the week and i just want to check.

It does run properly on custom firmwire, but you have to change some settings in the recovery menu.

I Copy and Pasted this from DCEMU:
Here are the correct settings-

-configuration-
Game folder homebrew (currently: 3.XX Kernal)
Use NO-UMD (currently:disabled)
Fake region (currently:America)
Free UMD region(currently Enabled)

-Advanced-
-advanced configuration-
Plain modules in UMD/ISO (currently: Enabled)

-CPU Speed-
Speed in UMD/ISO (currently:333)

(apparently some user's use 266mhz, try that. I'm using 333mhz and its running perfectly.)

-Plugins-
All Disabled!

Side Note- These are the settings to run the UMD of ratchet and Clank.
