Re: whats the risk?

Warranty. Dignity. Lol. You could brick your PSP. umm well your being illegal. Or is that only if you play downloaded games? Wonder if that includes Zombie Crisis and CounterStrikePSP...

Re: whats the risk?

You don't actually lose anything, you just gain a sh*tload of new features.

Installing and using custom firmware is not illegal, playing downloaded games is though.

CounterStrikePSP (CSPSP, CS Portable) are completely legal as far as I know. ISOs and CSOs aren't, unless they consist of homebrew code only. ;-)

Re: whats the risk?

Oh ok. Hey, if Sony is wanting to stop homebrew, why do they allow Amazon.com to sell Pandora's Battery? I hope they don't stop them. Homebrew rocks!

Re: whats the risk?

I don't think Sony is FOR homebrew considering the 3000 is 100% hackproof in any previous way. I'm sure someone will figure out how to, but Sony sure isn't screaming 'HACK OUR SYSTEMS, PLEASE, WE'RE OK WITH IT!'. I blame ROMS, people who use them cost us easy homebrew.

Slaughter without laughter is S, which is the starting letter for many negative words. Go on, try and think them up.
