I'm making my own game!!!!!!

I'm making my own game and I need help with sprite shaats. How do I download and use them? I'm not using flash for this i'm using a program called Gamemaker
any help would be greatly appreciated. smile Oh and if anyone has any sprites I could use it would be appreciated also. This will take a long time because I don't really know how to do this.
