Operation IceShine - From jfig111 and pspflashgaming.com

..::Operation IceShine::..

You and your Humanoid were destined to complete something worthwhile. After being one of the top solo scientists in the world, you had found something that would make you the greatest hero of all times: A chemical that could produce itself into a cold ice like substance, and it also regenerated each atom of itself.

You and your Humanoid RQ 123 had experimented with the chemical in a scientific attempt to end Global Warming, and stop sun rays from damaging the Earth's Surface.

But, you had miscalculated to find out that this chemical massively reproduced itself, and rapidly froze much of the earth's surface, including all the Oceans.

Then, you were knocked cold by it's expanding body, but you survived to tell the tale....

This reproducing freezing chemical parasite could not touch marble, and if it did, a hige section of it would stop reproducing, causing dry and livable spots to be on the earth.

Now, it's up to you and your assistant to try and find all the people still alive, and near marble, and build a rocket to take you off the earth.

Now now Zuriki, don't start back up again. tongue

I'm thinking about the gameplay, it'll be an adventure game.

Im just going to point something out that bothers me...
jfig, frankly, you tend to talk down to people and I know how annoying it can be when someone talks down to you, so try not to provoke anyone.
Anyways back on topic...
The Intro looks nice.

Re: Operation IceShine - From jfig111 and pspflashgaming.com

New Demo, it's short and doesn't reflect the theme or gameplay, but...

It's here...

http://www.resiststorage.org/images/lol4.swf

Play through the level, testing the art and gameplay feature. Don't worry, it's not always like that.

Use the Right and Left arrow keys to move RQ 123.

Re: Operation IceShine - From jfig111 and pspflashgaming.com

Why did you post a "demo" if it does not reflect the theme nor the gameplay...
seems like those would be two major reasons to post a demo.

Re: Operation IceShine - From jfig111 and pspflashgaming.com

ummm, its ok, but I agree with Zuriki it needs some legs, the wheel makes it look like a unicycle, but its an ok game so far.

Re: Operation IceShine - From jfig111 and pspflashgaming.com

@ Zuriki: A humanoid can't walk on legs on frozen ice without slipping, so he has a wheel to keep balance.

@ Corvette: Jeez you guys.... It does reflect the theme actually, a mission. It just doesn't reflect the game play as it changes variously from shooter to puzzle to adventure and so on...

@ katanaa: Unicycle? Lol, vision warp?

@ Shadow: Rofl! I was thinking the exact same thing! I think its the characters' black suits, and their crazy hair.

Re: Operation IceShine - From jfig111 and pspflashgaming.com

Precisely. Like riding a bike on ice, it fails. Make it legs.

Erm, no... It's Pherlum, it is a good weight and it balances to magnetic fields.

Are you just trying to be negative now? neutral

Re: Operation IceShine - From jfig111 and pspflashgaming.com

The demo looks nice. But the text is sometimes a tad hard to read and the wheel doesn't make sense to have it on ice. The gfx are not bad though, i like the heads of the characters.
